Congregational Care exists to come alongside those in the Wheeler Avenue Church family through seasons of sorrow, sickness, and setbacks. The ministry provides support from hospital and home visits to guiding members who are grieving.

Caring Congregation

It is important that we remain connected to and supportive of those in this body of believers and community of fellowship. The Congregational Care update, normally shared during Sunday worship, is now available to encourage your prayers throughout the week.

Stephen Ministry

The Wheeler Avenue Stephen Ministry is a member-helping-member care model that offers hope for people experiencing tough times. Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one, Christ-centered care for members during seasons of despair, dismay, and distress. Those receiving care are supported compassionately and encouraged in their Christian faith.

Other Congregational Care Services

Congregational Care also provides the following care for members:

· Visitation for the homebound and hospitalized

· Funeral service support

· Bereavement and grief support
